This Privacy Policy explains how okayfun collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects the personal information of Players and visitors to the okayfun platform. By registering or using okayfun, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
Six principles that guide how okayfun handles your personal data
All personal data held by okayfun is protected by 256-bit SSL encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Access controls ensure only authorized personnel can view personal information, and only when operationally necessary.
okayfun does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes. Data is shared with third parties only as described in this Policy, including licensed payment processors and regulatory authorities where required by law.
Under Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. okayfun provides clear pathways for exercising all statutory data subject rights.
okayfun collects only the personal data necessary to provide the gaming service, fulfill legal and regulatory obligations, and protect the integrity of the platform. We do not collect data speculatively or beyond what is required for stated purposes.
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by Philippine law. Account data is typically retained for five (5) years from account closure for regulatory compliance purposes.
okayfun operates in full compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the guidelines issued by the National Privacy Commission (NPC). A designated Data Protection Officer oversees compliance.
1.1 For the purposes of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, okayfun acts as the personal information controller with respect to personal data collected from Players and users of the okayfun Platform.
1.2 okayfun has designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is responsible for overseeing compliance with RA 10173 and this Privacy Policy. The DPO may be contacted through the channels specified in Section 15 of this Policy.
1.3 okayfun is committed to processing personal data in a manner that respects the privacy and dignity of data subjects, consistent with the principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality as mandated by Philippine data protection law.
2.1 Registration Data. When you create an okayfun account, we collect: full legal name, date of birth, Philippine mobile number, email address, and account password (stored in hashed form — never in plain text).
2.2 Identity Verification (KYC) Data. To comply with Philippine gaming regulations and anti-money laundering requirements, okayfun collects copies of government-issued identification documents (e.g., Philippine passport, UMID, Driver's License, SSS/GSIS ID), proof of address, and in some cases, proof of payment method ownership.
2.3 Financial Data. okayfun collects transaction data including deposit amounts, withdrawal requests, transaction timestamps, and payment method identifiers (e.g., last four digits of a card or GCash account reference). Full payment credentials are processed by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors and are not stored by okayfun.
2.4 Gaming Activity Data. We collect records of games played, bets placed, outcomes, session durations, and bonus usage. This data is used to operate the service, detect fraud, and fulfill regulatory reporting obligations.
2.5 Technical Data. okayfun automatically collects IP address, device type, browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, and general location data (country/region level) when you access the Platform.
2.6 Communications Data. We retain records of your communications with okayfun's support team, including live chat transcripts and email correspondence, for quality assurance, complaint handling, and regulatory purposes.
2.7 Responsible Gaming Data. Where you use okayfun's responsible gaming tools — including deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, or self-exclusion — we record and process this information to give effect to your choices and to fulfill our duty of care obligations.

7.1 Certain okayfun service providers, including game software providers and analytics platforms, may be located outside the Philippines. Where personal data is transferred internationally, okayfun ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data, including contractual data protection clauses that impose obligations equivalent to those under RA 10173.
7.2 okayfun will only transfer personal data internationally where the destination country provides an adequate level of data protection, or where appropriate contractual or technical safeguards are in place.
8.1 okayfun retains personal data for as long as your account is active and for a minimum period of five (5) years from account closure, in compliance with Philippine anti-money laundering regulations which require the retention of financial and identity records.
8.2 Communications data (support chat transcripts, emails) is retained for a minimum of two (2) years from the date of the communication for quality assurance and dispute resolution purposes.
8.3 Technical data (log files, IP records) is retained for up to twelve (12) months for security and fraud prevention purposes, unless a longer retention period is required by an ongoing investigation or legal proceeding.
8.4 Where retention is no longer necessary and no legal obligation requires continued storage, okayfun will securely delete or anonymize your personal data.
9.1 okayfun uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (including local storage and session storage) to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, maintain your login session, and analyze usage patterns.
9.2 Essential cookies are required for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. They do not collect personal data beyond what is technically necessary for session management.
9.3 Analytics cookies help okayfun understand how Players use the Platform, which pages are most visited, and where technical errors occur. Analytics data is aggregated and does not directly identify individual users.
9.4 Marketing cookies may be used to deliver okayfun promotions and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. These cookies require your consent and may be disabled through your browser settings or by contacting our support team.
9.5 You may control and delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that disabling essential cookies will affect your ability to use the Platform.
Under Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data held by okayfun:
Request a copy of the personal data okayfun holds about you and information on how it is processed.
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data held about you.
Request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary and no legal retention obligation applies.
Object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing or where processing is based on legitimate interests.
Receive a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
Withdraw consent for marketing communications or non-essential cookies at any time, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact okayfun's Data Protection Officer using the contact details in Section 15. okayfun will respond to all data subject requests within thirty (30) days, as required by RA 10173. Where a request cannot be fulfilled — for example, where retention is required by law — okayfun will explain the reason in writing.
11.1 The okayfun Platform is strictly for individuals aged twenty-one (21) years and above. okayfun does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21. Age verification is conducted for all new account registrations as part of the KYC process.
11.2 If okayfun discovers that personal data has been collected from a person under 21 years of age, the relevant account will be immediately closed, all data will be deleted (except where retention is required for regulatory or legal purposes), and the matter may be referred to appropriate authorities. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has registered on okayfun should contact our support team immediately.
12.1 okayfun implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, destruction, or disclosure. These measures include:
12.2 Notwithstanding these measures, no data transmission over the internet is entirely secure. okayfun cannot guarantee absolute security and encourages Players to use strong, unique passwords and to report any suspected unauthorized access immediately.
13.1 In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in harm to affected data subjects, okayfun will notify the National Privacy Commission (NPC) within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with the requirements of RA 10173 and NPC Circular No. 16-03.
13.2 Where a breach is likely to result in high risk to the rights and freedoms of affected Players, okayfun will also notify affected Players directly without undue delay, providing information about the nature of the breach, the likely consequences, and the measures taken or proposed to address it.
13.3 okayfun maintains a data breach register and conducts post-incident reviews to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
14.1 okayfun may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, regulatory requirements, or okayfun's data processing practices. The "Effective Date" at the top of this document will be updated whenever material changes are made.
14.2 Where changes are material — meaning they significantly affect how okayfun processes your personal data or your rights in relation to that data — okayfun will provide advance notice via your registered email address at least fourteen (14) days before the changes take effect.
14.3 Continued use of the okayfun Platform following the effective date of any updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated Policy. If you do not agree with any changes, you may request account closure in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
15.1 For any questions, concerns, or requests relating to this Privacy Policy or okayfun's handling of your personal data — including the exercise of data subject rights under RA 10173 — please contact okayfun's Data Protection Officer through the following channels:
15.2 okayfun will acknowledge receipt of all data privacy requests within three (3) business days and will provide a substantive response within thirty (30) calendar days, as required by RA 10173.
15.3 If you are not satisfied with okayfun's response to your data privacy concern, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines (NPC). Information about the NPC and its complaint process is publicly available on the NPC's official website.
